Today was one of those moments that quietly reminded me why we started.
No announcements.
No celebrations.
Just work, consistency, and learning.
Over the last 15 days, we’ve managed to do around ₹10,000 in total sales.
Not today alone — cumulatively, slowly, day by day.
So far, we’ve sold:
- 150+ thalis
- 300+ cups of chai
- 170 samosas
Everything was done with limited resources and a lot of effort behind the scenes.
The Part That Matters the Most
Our thali is priced at ₹49.
Not because it looks good on paper, but because we wanted to try something different.
The idea was simple:
If someone pays ₹50, we return the ₹1 change and request them to donate it to One Foundation — only if they want to.
But something unexpected happened.
Till date, not a single person has paid ₹49.
People naturally pay ₹50.
Some even give ₹60 or ₹70, mostly because of lack of change — but also because they feel the value.
And the best part?
We never push the price.
We barely even say it.
We let people decide.
What This Taught Us
We now have:
- 5+ repeat customers who order almost daily
- 10+ customers who order at least three times a week
This matters more than numbers.
Because our goal was never charity funded by sympathy.
We wanted to build a pipeline where support comes from credibility, trust, and value, not from emotional pressure.
People are not donating because we ask.
They’re contributing because they believe.
That is exactly what we wanted.
Still Learning, Still Building
This may not sound big to many people.
And honestly, we don’t think it is either.
But for us, it matters.
Because every day teaches us something:
- About pricing
- About trust
- About consistency
- About how small systems can quietly work if done honestly
We’re still figuring things out.
Still making mistakes.
Still improving one day at a time.
Grateful to everyone who showed up, trusted us, returned again, and supported us without being asked.
Back to work tomorrow. 🙏
